About This Class

The perfect opportunity to make your own wedding rings. We will look after you during the process, so that you feel supported whilst working with these precious metals, and that your bespoke wedding bands are beautiful. Our all inclusive cost is quoted prior to the session. In this guided introduction to the jewellers bench, we will share with you, how to make a solid 9CT yellow Gold textured or Platinum band. These classes are scheduled across the year and/or can be booked as a private session. Give a call or drop us an email! As Platinum and Gold are a commodity heavily influenced by the stock market & the USD/NZD rate; we estimate the following, as a guide for your class fee, metal and all materials needed to make the ring. Platinum will be quoted to suit your requirements. The estimates below are for 9CT gold with a profile of 3.5mm x 1.5mm: Estimate Finger size $615 G-K $680 L-N $750 O-T $815 U-Z $1060 Z1-Z6 So that we have the right amount of metal for your class, and can complete a quote for you, we do require you to advise us your correct finger size/s. A fixed price quote will be sent to you, which must be paid in full on invoicing. Please allow at least 5 days before the start of class for your order to be manufactured ready for your class. We also have other ring profiles and can quote you in 14CT, 18CT or Platinum, depending on the metal profile. Please wear closed toe shoes & have any long hair tied up. Bring your eyeglasses, if you need to see up-close. All other materials & tools required to make the ring, are provided for the class. Please note: Unfortunately there is no time allocated to melting & fabricating your metal in this class, as a result we cannot use Gold from an alternative resource or recycled gold.
